Tottenham Hotspur has informed Harry Kane that they’ve decided not to sell him this summer.
At the conclusion of the 2023–24 season, Kane’s current contract will expire, and the two parties are still no closer to reaching a new agreement.
Some of the top clubs in Europe have been pursuing the striker in recent months, including Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and PSG.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, is prepared to intensify its pursuit of Kane in the wake of Karim Benzema’s shocking transfer to Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad.
According to a previous report from 90min, Kane would not be permitted to leave Spurs this summer as the club has turned back on its decision about letting him leave.
After informing Kane that Ange Postecoglou would be taking the head coaching position, Tottenham told him he would not be sold at just any price.
Kane was informed that no offer would be accepted, not even one of £100 million from Real Madrid or another interested party.
Spurs fans still hold out hope that Kane, who passed Ronaldo as the club’s all-time leading scorer in February, will sign a new deal in N17.
James Maddison, who plays for Leicester City, and is also wanted by Newcastle United, will be pursued by Spurs. Hugo Lloris, the captain of Brentford, publicly declared last week his desire to leave Tottenham, so David Raya is high on their shortlist of goalkeepers.
Spurs are also in need of a new center-back, and they have Harry Maguire of Manchester United and Aymeric Laporte of Manchester City on their list of potential candidates.
