Tottenham’s Harry Kane may soon receive a better offer from Bayern Munich.
Tuesday’s rumours that Bayern had made a serious offer for the 29-year-old England captain were declined by Tottenham. The Bundesliga champions are now expected to make another offer since they are certain they can seal the deal.
On Tuesday evening, the German publication Bild announced that Kane and Bayern had reached a personal agreement, which was also not confirmed by Tottenham.
Kane’s contract expires next summer and earlier this year, Real Madrid and Manchester United both expressed interest in signing him.
With 280 goals in 435 games after graduating from the club’s academy, he holds the record for most goals scored by a player in Tottenham history.
