- Marcus Alonso, a target for Manchester United, has “made his choice” on a prospective switch from Barcelona to Old Trafford. The 32-year-old Spaniard is seen by the Red Devils as a replacement for Luke Shaw, as Shaw is injured. United has also shortlisted 25-year-old Chelsea and Spain full-back Marc Cucurella in addition to Alonso.
- Matheus Nunes, a midfielder for Wolverhampton Wolves and Portugal, is on the verge of signing for Manchester City after the club made an increased offer for the 25-year-old.
- If Mohamed Salah, 31, decides to relocate to Saudi Arabia, Liverpool has selected 23-year-old Joao Felix, who plays for Atletico Madrid as a potential replacement for the Egyptian.
- Randal Kolo Muani, a 24-year-old winger for Eintracht Frankfurt, has had an 80 million euro (£69 million) bid made for him from Paris St. Germain.
