England Squad: Euro 2024 Team Players

England Squad

The England team for Euro 2024 will be chosen sooner than you think, as Gareth Southgate prepares for his fourth and possibly last tournament as manager of the Three Lions.

So far, the results have been mixed. They made it to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup, the final of Euro 2020, and the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Some stars, like Harry Maguire, Harry Kane, and Jordan Henderson, have played in all three tournaments. Other players have stepped up in the time between tournaments to win their spots.

Southgate has a lot of great players to choose from, and this might be the best time to be an England fan since 1966. Euro 2024 in Germany is a real chance to win a trophy, and the fight really starts with qualifying in a tough group.

This time, 53 teams will qualify for the Euros. Russia, which is banned for political reasons, and the host country, Germany, are the only two teams that won’t be there. Because of how they did in the Nations League, 12 teams are sure to make it to the play-offs and progress.

In England’s group, Italy is part of this. Ukraine, North Macedonia, and Malta are the other teams in the Three Lions’ group.
