Randal Kolo Muani, a striker for Eintracht Frankfurt, has informed the team he won’t train while he pursues a transfer to Paris St-Germain.
Markus Kroesche, the sports director for Frankfurt, stated: “This behaviour has no impact on the transfer business.”
Kolo Muani is valued at 100 million euros and has a deal with the German team until 2027. The 24-year-old PSG target claims he is interested in joining the French champions because it is “a unique possibility for me.”
The Europa Conference League qualifier against Levski Sofia on Thursday will not include the France international.
Kolo Muani, who has 26 goals in 50 appearances since signing from Nantes last season, revealed in an interview with Sky Germany on Tuesday: “It’s no secret that PSG have made a record offer for me.
I now have a rare opportunity to relocate to Paris. I’ve informed the administration of my [club] that I wish to relocate to Paris. I’m hoping Frankfurt will accept Paris’ offer and allow this move to happen.”
