Hakim Ziyech is close to finalising his transfer from Chelsea to Al-Nasr in Saudi Arabia, while Kalidou Koulibaly is also nearing a move to the Middle East.
Ziyech and Koulibaly are just two of the players that are available for overseas transfer as Chelsea looks to bring in revenue to the club this summer to pay off their debts from the previous two spending sprees and fund more projects for this year.
Ziyech will be the first Chelsea player to travel to the Middle East this summer, sources have revealed. Ziyech has reportedly agreed to a three-year contract to team up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr and will shortly get a physical before signing the contract.
Koulibaly’s transfer to Al-Hilal is the subject of ongoing negotiations. In favour of a long-term move to Saudi Arabia, the former Napoli centre-back refused to return on loan to Serie A. The 31-year-old’s three-year contract through 2026 is also on the table, and a deal on personal terms is almost ready to be finalised.
