A League One team Lincoln will host West Ham as compensation for defeating Sheffield United on penalties, while Salford City will host Burnley.
The Championship’s Norwich will visit Fulham, who defeated Tottenham in the second round on penalties, while nine-time champions Liverpool will host Leicester.
The week beginning September 25 will mark the start of the third-round matches.
