Aaron Wan-Bissaka sustained an injury late in Manchester United’s 3-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, and the club predicts being without him for “many weeks.”

After starting the team’s first four games, Wan-Bissaka was forced to sit out against Brighton due to not feeling well throughout the week, but he was still able to enter the game at Old Trafford for the final five minutes.

Wan-Bissaka injured his hamstring during the brief play time he received, and United have stated that he will be out for a few weeks, but there is belief that he may be out for up to two months. Wan-Bissaka might not play in all seven Premier League games, including the Manchester derby on October 29, and the team’s first four Champions League group matches with a potential comeback date in mid-November.

With Diogo Dalot now anticipated to start, United will play Bayern Munich in their opening European matchup on Wednesday.
