Robert Lewandowski has stated he has no interest in joining the Saudi Arabia Pro League this summer.
Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema signed a contract with Al-Ittihad worth reportedly £200 million a year after rejecting a new deal at Real Madrid, while midfielder N’Golo Kante is about to confirm his move to Al-Ittihad as well.
While Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Kante have all been convinced to move by Saudi teams, several other players have chosen to pass on generous offers to play in the Pro League.
Lewandowski, who is one of the best players at Barcelona, has announced he won’t be joining a Saudi Arabian club despite rumours of an offer being made.
Lionel Messi is another player who rejected an astounding £344 million per year contract offer from Al-Hilal to join MLS team Inter Miami, and now Lewandowski has followed suit.
