After Bayern Munich’s Champions League loss to Manchester City on Tuesday, striker Sadio Mane struck teammate Leroy Sane in the face.
According to Sky Germany, Sane’s mouth was bleeding after Sadio Mane reportedly punched him, and other team members had to separate the two players in the locker room.
In the closing moments of Tuesday night’s play, when City defeated the German champions 3-0 at Etihad Stadium in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal, the two were spotted fighting on the field.
Mane, who was a substitute for the match, was picked up privately from the airport after his return to Munich, while Sane boarded the team bus.
Bayern Munich has not yet commented on the situation and more news are to follow.
