  • Manchester City is considering a deal to sign Wolves’ 24-year-old midfielder Matheus Nunes from Portugal Except if Manchester City makes a wildly inflated offer for Nunes, Wolves are unlikely to allow the player to depart Molineux so close to the end of the transfer window.
  • After dropping their interest in West Ham’s 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta, Man City have also moved their focus to Crystal Palace and England offensive player Eberechi Eze
  • Brennan Johnson, a Wales winger valued at £50 million by Nottingham Forest, is the subject of a bid from Tottenham that might include players in exchange for the 22-year-old. 
  • Despite interest from Liverpool, Fulham, and Sporting Lisbon, Fluminense will not trade Brazilian midfielder Andre, 22, in 2023. 
  • Nicolas Pepe, an Ivory Coast and Arsenal attacker, turned down the opportunity to join Besiktas and now appears likely to travel to Saudi Arabia. 
  • If a contract cannot be reached with a European club, Chelsea will advise Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, 30, to accept an offer from Saudi Arabia. Juventus is prepared to pay Chelsea £35 million for Lukaku, but the Italians must first receive £50 million from the sale of Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, 23, to go forward.
  • Sofyan Amrabat, a Moroccan midfielder for Fiorentina, is training by himself, which increases Manchester United’s chances of signing the 27-year-old. However, the Red Devils must first trade players to obtain the necessary amount for the move. 
  • Italian forward Moise Kean, 23, who plays for Juventus, has caught the attention of Fulham. 
  • Hugo Lloris, 36, is no longer a target for Lazio.
  • Following the rejection of two offers, West Ham are still in negotiations with Ajax over a trade for Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, 23. 
  • West Ham and Sevilla have started talking about a potential trade for Moroccan attacker Youssef En-Nesyri, 26. 
  • Fulham’s 27-year-old Dutch defender Kenny Tete is being considered by Bayern Munich as a possible replacement for France right-back Benjamin Pavard, who is moving on to Inter Milan.  
  • 29-year-old Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo‘s transfer from Manchester City to the Nou Camp will be completed when super agent Jorge Mendes arrives in Barcelona. 
  • The £18.5 million transfer of 21-year-old Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer to Sheffield United is almost complete. 
  • The 20-year-old Spanish defender Alvaro Fernandez, who plays for Manchester United, has both Burnley and Granada interested in signing him. 
  • Everton are still in negotiations with Southampton to sign 27-year-old Scotland striker Che Adams, but they won’t pursue a transfer for Mama Balde, a forward from Guinea-Bissau who plays for Troyes.
