  • Kylian Mbappe has told Chelsea he would be open to signing a one-year contract provided he can go to Real Madrid for free in the summer.
  • Liverpool’s offer for Southampton’s 19-year-old Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia was turned down, and Manchester United now wants him.
  • Rasmus Hojlund, a 20-year-old Danish striker for Atalanta, may not join Man United until this weekend after arriving in the city on Tuesday later than expected.
  • The 22-year-old Dutch defender Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg and Tottenham have reached a personal agreement.
  • A transfer for Fiorentina’s 26-year-old Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat would be made possible by Manchester United’s negotiations with Real Sociedad over the sale of 26-year-old Netherlands player Donny van de Beek.
