Following recovery from a parasite infection, England’s Kate Cross will make a comeback to England’s team for the Ashes Test against Australia.

The 31-year-old suffered from a parasitic infection that required numerous courses of medicines to treat it.

A 15-player roster has also been announced for the four-day test at Trent Bridge beginning on June 22. The squad also includes 22-year-old seamer Lauren Filer and all-rounder Danielle Gibson, both of whom are uncapped.

Issy Wong, a pace bowler who was absent from the T20 World Cup in February, is also going to make a comeback.
